To begin, I must give credit where credit is due to the fodder that will be thisiswhyimalone.com. Her name is Cecilia Campbell-Westlind and she is Swedish and descended from vikings (she also frequently succombs to "snaccidents" like I do, thus contributing to future why-i'm-alone posts... I think vikings also had snaccidents, but they were snaccidents of a cannibalistic nature)

She one day, perhaps not thinking much of it, responded to a mishap of mine, with a simple response: thisiswhyimalone.com and from this harsh critique of my life, came this silly blog.
